How to measure your dog before to choose the right dress?

To get the correct size of the dress for your dog, it is important to measure the length of your dog's back and size of its chest. The length you measure from the neck to the base of its tail and the size of its chest is the circumference of its ribcage at the widest part. With long-haired dogs it is always better to choose a slightly bigger size of the dress. Should the dog gain any weight, the dress will still fit.
